King Of The Mountaintop

As the Devil said to the Rolling Stones

Can you guess my name

I write about bodies and bones

It’s my claim to fame

I wear all black as much as I can

And I always have this hat

I wear cowboy boots and I never tan

Cause night time is where its at

I’m a crazy knuckle buster, and I can’t seem to stop

I’m Big Daddy J, and I’m here to stay, the King of the Mountain Top

I’ve read more books than I can remember

From Seuss to David Thoreau

I don’t join groups, I am not a member

I lead or I’ve got to go

I like my wine so red I can chew it

And my whiskey with just a glass

I try to be wise when I go to imbibe

Cause they can both kick my ass

I’m a crazy knuckle buster and I can’t seem to stop

I’m Big Daddy J, and I’m here to stay, The King of the Mountain Top

I got two loves in life, and one of them is music

The other is my partner in crime

They both know me better than I know myself

I’ll be with them til the end of time

I have so much to say before I am through

So much to do before I am done

If you’re hearing this song and diggin my groove

Then maybe I know I’ve won

I’m a crazy knuckle buster and I can’t seem to stop

I’m Big Daddy J, and I’m here to stay, The King of the Mountain Top
